Thornberry Animal Sanctuary opened in 1988. For all these years we have given hope to thousands of abandoned or mistreated animals who have come through our gates. Our aim is to rehome as many animal ... s as possible into secure, loving homes for the remainder of their lives and care for those that have to remain with us. As well as dogs, we also look after cats, rabbits, horses, goats, sheep, hens, ferrets and even pigs! It’s thanks to you that we have been able to do all this. We rely entirely on donations, legacies and our own fundraising for our continued survival. Any and all donations are very gratefully received, whether they be financial, through volunteering, items we can sell or raffle or sponsorship.
