In 1962, our grandparents bought some land along the Ta-Chine river in Nakorn Pathom province. The land was developed into a renowned tourist destination (Sampran Riverside สวนสามพราน) Across the riv ... er from the property lies our organic farm certified to IFOAM, EU and Canada standards where we grow herbs, fruits and vegetables. Combining traditional wisdom and modern methods, we use raw materials from either our certified organic farm or from a network of local organic farmers supported by the Sookjai Foundation to make organic body care products and traditional Thai delicacies under our concept of organic living. The Sookjai Foundation follows the philosophy of the ‘Sampran Model’, which is a movement to support farmers to switch from conventional to organic farming practices, and find new marketing channels for them. In the Sampran Model, we promote the direct relationship between farmers and the consumers. This means that farmers can decide what price they want to sell their produce at, and consumers can buy organics at a reasonable price. Patom Organic Living is just a small part of the big picture. At our shop, we bring together the hard work of organic farmers and the passion from our team to give you fair, honest, and quality products. We are not just a cafe or a shop. We are a movement. All of our products have been created to help support organic farmers in the Sookjai Foundation. Your support gives the foundation the chance to help more conventional farmers become organic, which benefits us, the farmers and our planet. 3% of sales is donated to the Sookjai Foundation.
