Mission 1- scientific relationship and dialogue among researchers, experts and engineers in the fields of structural and geotechnical earthquake engineering, engineering seismology and risk managemen ... t both at national and worldwide levels, 2- Cooperation with scientific and executive organizations in order to assess and review the programs and plans related to research and education in the area of IEEA activities. 3- Help to advance the research and contribute and support research and educational activities in the field of earthquake engineering; as well as facilitating technical cooperation and joint projects among Members; 4- Honoring and award the distinguished researchers, experts, engineers and students. 5- Providing research, educational and technical advising services. 6- Organizing and holding scientific and technical meetings, seminars and Conferences at national, regional and international level. 7- Organizing and holding specialized training and educational program and courses for engineers and students. 8- Publishing scientific books, reports and journals. 9- Technical cooperation and exchanging scientific information with universities, research centers, national and international associations such as IAEE. 10- Cooperating with the societies with IEEA is affiliated, and working together with suitable NGOs and non- profit organizations to improve and advance the science, social and educational aspects of earthquake engineering as well as for mitigating the earthquake risk in seismically active region of the countries through joint projects. Vision IEEA Vision is to promote cooperation among Iranian scientists and engineers in the field of earthquake engineering, and risk management through dissemination and interchange of knowledge, ideas, and results of research and practical experience; as well as playing an active role and helping toward the earthquake risk reduction of Iran with main objective of saving human lives and resources.
